news & events event

Life-together-adWe begin a new talk series to start the year in January and February.

We will be asking how does individualism affect the church being the church? What encourages us to live separate lives with our own agendas? Why does it result in feelings of loneliness, hurt and miscommunication?

God longs for us to have a rich and genuine relationship with Him and other people.

This series will give practical advice on how life together in Christ can serve as an antidote to the isolation and loneliness of our lives in the 21st century.

Newcomers-lunch-(VRT)-A chance to join us for lunch on Sunday 27 January, after our morning service, 12.30 pm, and meet the pastors, Andrew and Emma.

Hear their story. Find out what our vision is. Get to meet others in the church. Ask your questions.

This is the first stop of the Vineyard Road Trip, a welcome programme to help you see if we are your church and if so, how you can belong. No strings attached.

Please let the office know soon if you would like us to hold a chair for you. Look forward to meeting you soon.

Vineyard-Road-Trip-adWhether you are new or been in the church since the beginning, you are invited to come along to a special three-part evening course to hear our vision and values.

Discover what is precious to us. Find out how you can belong and be part a part of what God is doing. Come armed with your questions.

The evenings takes place at the Bridge Projec, Friar Street,  7.30pm on 5, 12 & 26 February.

If you are new, this is an ideal introduction to what Stour Valley Vineyard Church is all about. You are especially welcome.

Please note: the Vineyard Road Trip course replaces all HOME groups for these three weeks.

Just a small reminder that as next weekend is the first Sunday of the month, there will be no service on Sunday 6 January. Sorry for any disappointment! As our church plant continues to grow it is our intention to go to every Sunday as soon as we can. Thanks for bearing with us.

Our next service is on Sunday 13 January at 10.30 am in the Delphi Centre, Newton Road, Sudbury. Come early for fresh coffee and snacks. Planet Vineyard groups for kids and young people.

Please note that your HOME groups begin again next week.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Vineyard-DTI 2013 (3)DTI is a growing national Vineyard event aimed at young people aged between 11-18. It’s an unmissable opportunity to meet Jesus in worship, teaching and ministry as well as catch up with other youth from around the Vineyard.

This year the action packed DTI programme will hit a new level including the legendary wipeout, football, gunging leaders and extreme challenges – plus some other ground breaking stuff we haven’t even planned yet! Showcasing the phenomenal talent from a youth group like yours, the evening entertainment is always seriously ramped up!

Plus you can always chill out in the cafe, which stocks all the traditional tuck you would expect and also DTI delicacies like hot chocolate mountains, pancakes and new for 2013 – the commercial grade candy floss machine!

Finally, just between you and us (and anyone else who reads this) John and Eleanor Mumford, who lead Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland will be at DTI 2013 and speaking on the Saturday – BOOM!

Pick up a form from the Welcome Desk on Sunday morning, contact the church office or book online.
