I’m new

Glad you found us.

We are well aware that people try church for many different reasons. So whether you have faith or no faith or are a complete sceptic, you’re very welcome. And relax, we make no judgements. Just come as you are!

And if you’re feeling particularly brave and you’d like to contact us directly about any of our activities or want to explore what it is to be a Christian, we’d love to hear from you. But no pressure.

Sunday Services

The best way to find out more about what we  believe is to simply come along to a service on Sunday morning at 10.30 am The Delphi Centre, Newton Road, Sudbury

You’ll be greeted by our Welcome Team and pointed to our Café area where fresh coffee and snacks are served before the service starts from 10am.

If you have children, we can introduce you to the Planet Vineyard Team. They would love to tell you the kind of fun things that our kids and young people get up any given Sunday morning.

While with us, why not take moment to fill out ‘Keep in touch’ card, so we can send you out a Welcome Pack? It includes a little bit more about who we are as well as a free Vineyard worship CD.

Newcomers’ Welcome Lunches

We offer a light lunch for people like you who are ‘just looking’. This happens once a term. It’s a prime opportunity to hear founding pastors Andrew and Emma Stewart-Darling share their story and to get to know each other.

There’s also the chance to ask them any burning questions. And all over some lovely home-cooked food.

Contact the church office to find out about our next Newcomers’ Lunch.

Vineyard Road Trip

Beyond the lunch we want to show you around the place and help you see how this could be the place for you. We take a couple of midweek evenings to explore our church’s vision and values and show you how you can belong and be part of the journey.

HOME Groups – pastoral care

If we are really serious about growing up spiritually before growing old, a midweek HOME group is essential for you. HOME stands for Hospitality, Outreach, Ministry and Encouragement. It really is the most effective way to get to know people in church and grow closer to Jesus. To find out more, click here.

Outward

Outward Focused Life

We reckon we actually have two holes in us as human beings.

One is God-shaped, the other is purpose-shaped. While the God-shaped hole is met through places we can receive such as Sunday services and HOME groups, the hole other is filled by serving others – giving out.

Serving for us means getting involved in Sunday service support teams and other areas like our compassion ministry Storehouse. But it also in takes the form of getting out there and serving our community through acts of random kindness. This is just sheer fun, but be warned, once experienced it’s becomes addictive!

We like to do this in creative and practical ways. It’s part of our mission to see the lost found and the found grown, so we really are intentional about reaching out to those on the outside.
