April-Fools-Giveaway

We are doing our next community outward focused event on April Fool’s Day. Such fun!

We are planning to give away hundreds of doughnuts to public sector workers in Sudbury and surrounding areas. We want to show our love and appreciation for all the unsung work that they do in our communities.

We are meeting at our church offices at The Christopher Centre 9.30am on Tuesday 1st April to pack and distribute bags before gong out to a number of addresses.

If you have a car and can spare an hour, we’d love to see you.

Meanwhile, please pray that these small doughy things with jam in the middle might start to change a few lives. Don’t underestimate the power of the doughnut!

Let’s go serve somebody in Jesus’ name and bless them.

See you there!

On Sunday 23 March there will be a Sports Relief running event being    held at the Delphi Centre from 10am. So if you are not putting on your running shoes and will be joining us on Sunday the event will undoubtedly effect our usual parking arrangements.

For this Sunday only you will either need to park down the side road or on the large main car park on the left hand side of Alexandra Road and make the short walk to the Delphi Centre.

For those that will be dropping off equipment for their Sunday Ministry Teams there will be access to the Delphi for unloading your vehicle.

We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday.

CRT-Spring2-2014Are you new or just looking?

Why not come along on our informal three week course to explore our visions and values? Find out where the church is going and how you can be part of it.

Not many people will get on board a bus without knowing the destination first. We don’t think church should be any different. After all, we all like to know where they are going, it makes us feel safe. This relaxed course is an invitation to share our vision and for you to become part of God’s story for the Stour Valley area.

It starts 7.30pm, Monday 24 February and runs for three weeks in the home of our pastors, Andrew & Emma Stewart-Darling.

To book your seat on the bus, ring 01787 377670; drop us a line or sign up on Sunday at the Welcome Desk. We’d love to see you!
