news & events event

DTI 2105As our young people get ready to head off to the Lincolnshire Showground this weekend for Dreaming The Impossible (DTI) 2015, the team that will be hosting the event will be having a day of prayer and fasting throughout today. At DTI our young people can catch up with friends and meet new people from around the Vineyard movement. It is also a fantastic opportunity for them to meet with god, experience the Holy Spirit and grow in their journey with Christ. Many our young people return with amazing stories and a fire in their hearts for more of our God, it so uplifting to see.

If you are going to DTI or not you can get involved in the prayer and fasting that is taking place today. The team at DTI will be praying and fasting so if you want them to pray for you or others you can send your prayer requests via Twitter  (#DTI2015 #FREE) or Facebook. You can also pray during the day for those heading to DTI and all the leaders and team that will be guiding our young people this weekend. Why not join the team in fasting as well, even if you miss just one meal?

Have a great time everyone and we look forward to having you share your stories when you come home!

Vineyard Road Trip blue bgAre you new or just looking?

Why not come along on our informal three week course to explore our visions and values? Find out where the church is going and how you can be part of it, as well as having the opportunity to ask your questions about this Church.

Not many people will get on board a bus without knowing the destination first. We don’t think church should be any different. After all, we all like to know where they are going, it makes us feel safe. This relaxed course is an invitation to share our vision and for you to become part of God’s story for the Stour Valley area.

The third and final session starts at 8pm, Tuesday 24 March at The Christopher Centre.

We’d love to see you!

Waterfalls artwork‘Waterfalls’ is the new  album from Vineyard Records UK and is available from the Welcome Point on Sundays at the special offer price of £7 (for a limited time only).

Recorded at St Alban’s Vineyard, it features 12 songs from Vineyard churches all over the UK and sung by worship leaders who lead week in, week out in their local churches.

From Vineyard Records team:

“This is not an album from worship artists, but from people who work as teachers, carpenters and educational therapists in the week, and whose hearts long to worship God.

“The resulting songs are powerful, immediate, honest and bear the hallmarks of the intimate worship that the Vineyard movement has long been known for.”

And we would have to agree!
