Feeling uninspired reading the Bible? Your Spotify Worship fave list not quite enough? Now, you know you should probably read your Bible more, but where do you start? This’ll help.

Our new Bible resources page is going to be your friend.

It is full of free ideas to improve your knowledge of the Bible, but most importantly help draw you closer to God.

It contains a number of ideas, ranging from printable and online reading plans, daily study notes, podcasts and mobile phone apps.

And If you don’t own your own Bible (yes, you can still get them in print!) you can grab a free one on Sunday mornings in the cafe.

What did you do when you reached ten? Did you feel more grown up, smarter or just wanting to be older?

As Stour Valley Vineyard Church prepares to turn ten on 24 September, we’re going back to our roots with the message series, The Next Ten Years to remind ourselves what this church has been built on to help us prepare for the next ten years.

If you are new, looking for a church or haven’t been to church for a while, this is a great opportunity to check us out and see what makes us who we are. Faith or no faith, you’re very welcome.

Come along this Sunday to the Delphi Centre, Newton Road. Coffee, colds drinks and snacks served from 10am.

We also have a fun children and youth programme called Planet Vineyard with a team excitedly waiting to meet your kids.

You won’t want to be anywhere else.

I will build my church – Matthew 16:18

We’re so grateful to all the talented craftsmen in our church who have helped us write a new chapter in the story of Stour Valley Vineyard.

BUT we are equally grateful to the rest of the church who came down on DIY Sunday and painted the place top to bottom. Such great unity amongst us! So grateful to God!

We also took the opportunity on the morning to deliver hundreds of welcome postcards to our new neighbours. If you are reading because you received one, we hope to meet you soon.

If you missed this Sunday, don’t worry, there will be other opportunities to get involved. there are still things to be done.

But for now we give thanks to this amazing new building called Vineyard Centre.

In 2007 we started Stour Valley Vineyard for people who didn’t like church or believe in God.

We invited people to come as they are. And you did. Thank you.

Today the church is made up of the most amazing, fun-loving, generous bunch of people you’ll ever hope to meet.

But we’re also a people on the move. We’ve met a God who loves us, pursues us and really knows us. And we’ll do anything short of sin to share that good news with others in our community.

It’s why we’re super excited to announce our new Vineyard Centre in Tudor Road, Sudbury.

From September, just in time for our 10th church birthday, we’ll have brand new
staff offices, new Storehouse Foodbank facilities, as well as a midweek space for 100 people.

We are also thrilled to be working in partnership with Ormiston Sudbury Academy.

This is a fantastic school, run by an amazing head and staff, so you can imagine how honoured we feel to be their new neighbours.

As our plans progress, we will be bring you more news, as well as provide ways for you to get involved.

Watch this space!

We’re excited to welcome Peter and his wife, Tania as our Sunday morning guest speaker on 25 June, from 10:30am at the Delphi Centre. Peter has a heart to help the vulnerable and those in need. At British Airways Peter built his career in HR and organisation development. In 2010 he joined the Swiss based international humanitarian agency Medair. At Prison Fellowship, Peter is tasked with leading the delivery of PF’s ongoing work in prisons and enabling the organisation to achieve its vision.

Join us from 10.00am for fresh coffee or tea and a warm pastry, it would be great to see you there!

We love all love our dads, don’t we? We all think they do a pretty good job. (Well, most of the time!)

Well, dads, step forward. Whether you have young children or older, this is your moment to be recognise for the super hero that you are.

Children, make sure you bring the old man early on Sunday 18 June at the Delphi Centre, so we can honour them. Warm bacon rolls and other treats will be waiting for them.

We will also a have some fun games with some silly prizes to win and more.

Oh, and If you’ve got a super hero tee-shirt somewhere in your drawer, why not wear it? We’ll have ours on.

See you there faster than a speeding bullet. Cape optional!
