We think that our dads do a pretty good job, they may even be a star baker.

Well, dads, step forward. Whether you have young children or older, this is your moment to be recognised.

Children, make sure you bring the old man early on Sunday 17 June at the Delphi Centre, so we can honour them. Warm bacon rolls and other treats will be waiting for them.

See you there

Taking time as a group to pray for others.

We are a small group who meet together to pray together for God’s Kingdom purposes and for His will to be carried out in the lives of His people, His church, and throughout the world. We pray for prayer requests that come from a variety of sources. The primary focus is on praying for the needs of those beyond the group members. Praying together is an act of love like God’s, for the sake of others.

We meet on the first Thursday of each month for 1 hour from 9:00am at Vineyard Centre.

Just turn up no need to book.

At Stour Valley Vineyard, we are committed to being more than simply a large group of people who gather together on a Sunday. Thats why we encourage being part of a mid-week small group.

So Why Small Groups?

Each group is a unique mix of people who help each other grow relationally and spiritually. They provide the perfect smaller setting to meet with friends and feel a part of the family at SVV.

All of our small groups are different and you are encouraged to find one where you feel you can belong. With around six to twenty people, groups meet in homes and other venues in Sudbury and the surrounding area.

The Christian life can feel like a long game of ‘Jesus Says’. Jesus says pray. Jesus says give. Jesus says go to church. But upon further investigation, we discover that Jesus’ invitation to his first-century audience was an invitation to  relationship.

And it began with a simple request—follow me!

In this  series for Sunday mornings at Vineyard, we will take you on a journey through the gospels to trace Jesus’ teachings on what it means to  follow. We will see that being called a follower of Jesus is much more meaningful than simply being called a Christian.

We will follow the stories of the disciples’ experiences to discover exactly what ‘followership’ could look like for us today.

Wherever you are at in your faith and your relationship with God and his world, this series will help you understand more about what it is to be Christian in 21st Century Britain.

We hope you can join us on Sundays, 10.30am at the Delphi Centre. Come as you are.
