Come alive this Easter!

Easter is a very special time for Christians in all cultures and countries around the world. We hope you will be able to join us this Easter at the Vineyard as we celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection.

There will be two services. We would love to welcome you, your family and friends this Easter.

GOOD FRIDAY- Hour at the Cross: 30 March, 10.00am, Vineyard Centre

A time to worship, reflect and pray. We also take communion together as part of this reflective time together.

EASTER SUNDAY: 1 April, 10.30am, Delphi Centre

Come along to our Sunday service (Map) where we celebrate the risen Christ. The service will include Planet Vineyard. It will be a fun morning for all the family. After the service, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the children.

Arrive from 10.00am for fresh coffee and hot cross buns.

We look forward to celebrating with you!

We hope you will be able to join us at Assington Hall, Assington 10.30 am for our Good Friday meditative service.

This will be a time when where we read the Bible passages of the Passion story together, reflect and pray before taking communion together.

Families, friends and visitors are very welcome. We will contemplate on the last three words uttered by Jesus before his death on the cross: “It is finished.” Words that would come to have such a huge, lasting impact on this world for every age to come.

Join us for our final steps towards the cross!

On Easter Sunday we will look at three other words – “He is risen!”

We are super excited about our 24-7 Week of Prayer! We hope you’ll be able to spend an hour with as we approach the Easter weekend at Vineyard.

The Prayer Room is open from Monday 26 March to Thursday 29 March, 8am-11pm and will be, for the very first time, at the Vineyard Centre, Tudor Road, Sudbury.

The room is is a place where you can go on your own or with family or friends. A place where you can spend time with God and encounter him in different ways.

It is not about talking non-stop for an hour! Relax! You can talk, listen, sing, draw, paint, express your feelings through music or silence. It is up to you. This hour belongs to you. We just offer it to you as a an inspirational creative space to allow you to interact with God in a way that suits you.

Whether you have faith, not faith or some faith, one thing is for sure, uncertainty is unavoidable. Being fearful is optional.

In this short series to lead us up to Easter Sunday, we remind ourselves that the faith of Jesus’ early followers was characterised by fearlessness, confidence in Jesus, and love for others. But, like blunt nails driven in by a hammer, they felt the pain of the blows by those who were offended by their words and lifestyle – much in the same way the teaching of Jesus still offends people today.

What would be said about your faith? Winston Churchill said, “Fear is a reaction, but courage is a decision.” How courageous are you feeling?

Join us for our Easter series to see how you can remain strong under pressure, based on the reassuring power of the cross and resurrection.

10.30am on Sundays at the Delphi Centre, Newton Road, Sudbury. Freshly brewed coffee, drinks and pastries served from 10am.
