Thank you to allchristmas hampers those who are helping to serve families and individuals in crisis in our town and surrounding villages with our Storehouse Christmas Hampers appeal.

We have had an amazing start to our two foodbanks weekends at Waitrose and been very touched by the generosity of shoppers, especially as these are not easy times for many of us. Some wonderful stories are starting to emerge! We are there for the whole of next weekend too (Sat Nov 30 & Sun 1 Dec).

Meanwhile, we need some more volunteers to help pack the actual emergency hampers, which is happening on the Monday and Tuesday mornings Tuesdays straight after the foodbank weekends.

Monday 24 November, 10am-2pm
Tuesday 25 November, 10am-2pm
Monday 2 December, 10am-2pm
Tuesday 3 December, 10am-2pm

Packing takes place in a warehouse kindly donated by Ridgeons. See their website for a map and directions. We will also need help with delivery.

if you can give any time or muscle, please contact Beryl Worvell, Our Storehouse Team Co-ordinator. You can ring Storehouse directly on: 07973 710905.

Watch out for the article on Thursday 14th November featuring Storehouse in this weeks edition of the Suffolk Free Press.

The article will highlight the amazing work that Storehouse is doing in Sudbury, raising awareness of the importance of the food bank to families and individuals in crisis.

Have a look and find out how we are hoping to provide 200 hampers from the giving events at Waitrose this month.

Curry-eveningChristmas starts here!

We are holding our legendary Christmas curry evening again on Monday 9 December at 7.30pm. (Well, Andy Woodcock, our socials co-ordinator, tells us it is. And who are we to argue?)

Come and bring your family and friends and join others at The Melford Valley in Long Melford.

The curry house, originally from Brick Lane, London, EC1  has won numerous awards, so it’s not an occasion to be missed!

We have arranged a special fixed price buffet menu of £10 each person (drinks not included).

Spaces are strictly limited and will be given on a ‘first come first serve basis’. (Last year we filled it to capacity – just to warn you!)

To book, sign up and pay your £10 deposit at the Welcome Desk on Sunday or drop Andy an email to arrange your places and payment.

Catch ya there!

Mumfords-at-SVVWe were so privileged to have John and Eleanor Mumford, national directors, Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland at our morning service.

We are so grateful to God for all their sacrifices made for us in the movement and the encouragement they give to all of us, not least to us here at Stour Valley Vineyard.

What a weekend we have had in the East Anglia Area!

More, Lord!

Christopher-Centre-SudburyAfter five years Stour Valley Vineyard now has a permanent presence in Sudbury!

We have moved our church offices and Storehouse Foodbank into the Christopher Centre, 10 Gainsborough Street, Sudbury Co10 2EU.

Our church office and Storehouse telephone numbers remain the same.

Huge thanks to the painting party who have done a brilliant job decorating the rooms and helped to make our move more enjoyable.

From the first week of November our Storehouse Drop-In will happen at the Christopher Centre, not at No. 72, North Street. Please spread the word!

Our offices are on the ground floor and can be accessed from the high street through main reception or directly via the car park at the back, off Christopher Lane.

When visiting, please use our allocated parking spaces. We want to be a blessing to our new neighbours.
