Chris-Lizzotte-pic

Wednesday 7.30 pm, 11 September at Assington Hall, near Sudbury.

We are thrilled and privileged to have Chris Lizotte coming to us all the way from California.

If you are part of the worship team at SVV or have a heart for worship, you won’t to miss the golden opportunity to hear one of the Vineyard movement’s founding worship leaders.

As part of the exciting launch of our new worship school at Stour Valley Vineyard Church, we have invited Chris to share his heart and mind on worship and lead a song-writing workshop for the evening.

Although this is not an official East Anglia Area event we are offering key worship leaders from our churches the opportunity to hang out with us for this special evening with Chris. And in the spirit of ‘sharing the love’, we are happy to see worship leaders from other Areas from the London and South East Region.

Booking details

In keeping this event intimate and informal, space is very limited at 30 people. You will need to let us know soon by email if you would like to come. Places will be given on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

This event is free, but a donation on the evening to bless Chris would be thoughtful.

We had a great weekend with  Storehouse Foodbank being at Waitrose. A big thanks to the shoppers of Waitrose and for all those served on a two-hour slot.

We filled three-and-a-half cages of food, which is a lot! It can now go to helping many families and individuals in crisis over the summer.

If you missed the foodbank at Waitrose over the weekend, don’t worry. They will still have shopping lists available this week with a place to drop off donations.

And do remember that the Storehouse Foodbank goes on 52 weeks of the year, as we now have a number of Storehouse Collection Points in the Area. You can also bring along items on a Sunday morning to Stour Valley Vineyard or to one of our HOME groups.

storehouse-page-bannerOn Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 July the Storehouse Foodbank will be in operation with our Waitrose in Sudbury, Suffolk.

We are very grateful for the relationship we have with this store and how they totally get how important it is how it takes a whole community to help those in crisis.

Thank you also for all those who are helping to do slot. For the rest of us, please support it by getting the word out and praying for a generous spirit among shoppers. These are tough times for many and so every tin of food counts.

Mended heartCome and learn how to pray for one another in a safe environment. Whether you have been a Christian for five years or five minutes we all have something we can offer each other. It doesn’t need experts, just servant hearts.

Please note, this event replaces all HOME groups for this week.

This special evening takes place at Assington Hall (not village hall) Tuesday 2 July at 8pm.
