We’re going into Sudbury’s shops and businesses on Saturday morning (31st March) to serve workers with a simple act of kindness and be God’s blessing to them. We really hope you can join us.

We are meeting in the North Street car park at 9 am by Alastair and and Angela’s car (Behind Iceland) Yes, that’s right 9 am! We know it is an early start, but please don’t let that put you off from serving on this special occasion. We want to give shop workers a real treat before the busyness of their day starts.  All we are asking is JUST 20 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME! No set up, no break down involved.

Meantime, if you have never done an outward focused giveaway before, or it’s been a while since you did the last one, we would particularly love to welcome you. They are lots of fun.  Let’s go serve!

You may or not be aware that Storehouse and CAP Money take space in No. 72 in North Street, Sudbury. This is a Christian-run organisation that provides essential family support services in our local community. It is led by Tim and Joy Ayerton who are part of independent church New Church in Great Cornard. Here is their website. Please remember them in your prayers as they do their important work. They do a brilliant thing!

If you are a regular or just looking at Vineyard, you are warmly invited to join us at 10.30 am in the Delphi Centre in Newton Road, Sudbury this Sunday. We are an informal growing family church, contemporary in style with traditional Christian beliefs.

This will be a special Sunday when we dedicate Evie Reed. You are invited to bring some food and drink to share for a potluck lunch together afterwards . We then hope to have some games together for the younger ones on the grass outside. Jumpers for goalposts spring to mind!

We hear from Stuart Ayling,Head of youth work at Eden’s project that the Quiz Night at All Saints helped raised around £400. Although none of our three teams worked away with a trophy on this occasion, everyone there thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Who doesn’t love a quiz?  It was worth it just to see ASD get the only question on the Bible wrong that night. A humbling experience! Meanwhile, do please remember to support Eden’s in ay way you feel you can, money, prayers or volunteering. We are so grateful for the vision of these guys and they way they serve our own young people.
