Storehouse tree to be displayed at Christmas Tree Festival

treeWe are excited to announce that Storehouse will be once again displaying a decorated Christmas tree at the Sudbury Christmas Tree Festival which is to be held in St Peter’s Church from Wednesday 9 to Sunday 13 December.

Organised by Sudbury’s two Rotary Clubs, this is the thirteenth festival to be held in the town, and each year it has grown in popularity with both exhibitors and visitors.

The festival will be open to the public from 10am to 6pm from Wednesday 9 to Saturday 12 December, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 13 December. In return for a donation, visitors will receive a programme detailing who has decorated each tree.

Come along, have a look and get into the festive spirit.

Pick up your free devotional on Sunday mornings through Advent

devo.jpgAdvent is a season of waiting, expecting, and hoping. Beginning four Sundays prior to Christmas and ending on Christmas Eve, Advent helps us prepare for the coming, or “advent” of the Christ child at Christmas. (The word “advent” comes from the Latin word that means “coming.”)

Starting on Sunday 29 November we will have two devotional booklets that you can pick up and take away to use durig your quiet time during Advent. These are two great resources that will help you focus on the ‘reason for the season’.

Enjoy!
